Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to support end users and field technicians with technical issues on warranty and non-warranty cold side foodservice equipment. You'll complete onboarding and have the opportunity to earn CFESA certifications.

You will join a collaborative Technical Service team that emphasizes safety, problem-solving, and a dash of fun, with a competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Reliable high-speed internet connection at home.
• Proficient with computers; MS Word and Outlook experience.
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate equipment information and troubleshooting solutions.
• Provide technical support to end users and field technicians via phone or email (30+ cases/day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose issues.
• Document customer call information in company database.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document failure rates.
