Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair cold side foodservice equipment, communicating with end users and field techs by phone or email. On onboarding, there is potential to earn CFESA certifications and grow within a fast-paced, supportive team.

The role emphasizes high-speed problem solving, teamwork, and a strong customer-service mindset, with a focus on safety and quality in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Able to use a computer and basic programs for documentation.
• Willingness to learn CFESA certifications over time.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate equipment information clearly.
• Offer technical support to end users and field technicians via phone or email (30+ cases/day).
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose issues.
• Log customer call details into the database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to recommend design changes and track failure rates.
