Parts Town is seeking an Inside Service Technician (Tech Wizard) to directly communicate with end users and field technicians, providing technical support for warranty and non-warranty equipment over the phone or via email.

On onboarding, you may earn CFESA certifications. The role emphasizes exceptional service, fast problem-solving, and teamwork within a fun, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• High-speed internet connection at home.
• Comfort using MS Word & Outlook.
• Passionate about troubleshooting and innovative solutions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Available to work an 8-hour shift Mon-Fri between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (CST) or 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (EST) with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate equipment information and troubleshooting solutions clearly.
• Handle 30+ cases per day via phone and/or email.
• Use manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose issues.
• Document all call information in the company database for future inquiries.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document failure rates.
