Job summary

Yelp is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for the Western US region. This remote, phone-based role focuses on educating business owners about Yelp advertising programs, building a robust pipeline in Salesforce, and meeting monthly quotas from a home office.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience OR; Bachelor's Degree with a demonstrated interest in sales/business or people-centric industry
• No fear of the phone and prepared to make a high volume of outbound dials, daily
• General computer and email proficiency - we use Google Suite and provide a Macbook laptop
• A work environment free of distractions
• Open to feedback and willing to implement for areas of improvement
• Strong, engaging interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage independently without oversight
• Must possess current US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Educate, strategize, and discuss Yelp advertising programs via high-volume outbound calls
• Work one of several local-time schedules to align with regional teams
• Own and manage a pipeline of clients across different business types in CRM
• Leverage Salesforce-guided pipeline nudges to reach decision-makers
• Work remotely from home on a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no commute
• Provide product recommendations to fit client needs and handle objections effectively
• Close deals and exceed monthly quotas with a strong work ethic
• Track daily goals to ensure targets are met
