Job summary

Stonhard is seeking an experienced sales professional to uncover construction bid opportunities and convert them into business. You will evaluate specifications, search for opportunities, and use Salesforce to maintain records.

A strong background in construction markets and bid processes is required to succeed in this role. You will be responsible for developing new opportunities, presenting solutions, and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related inside sales experience preferred in construction, industrial, or commercial markets.
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
• Proficiency with takeoff software programs to create bid documents.

Responsibilities

• Uncover construction bid opportunities through GC community and bid boards.
• Evaluate and understand specifications from start to close within an order.
• Search project specs to create opportunities with Stonhard products as alternatives.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities and implement effective sales solutions quickly.
• Maintain accurate customer records, project details and activity logs using Salesforce CRM.
