Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to join a focused team serving data center customers and partners. You will build relationships with key decision makers and suppliers while promoting GCG Data Center solutions.

This role offers a remote work arrangement with a strong preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone and requires a proven B2B inside sales track record, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably within the Data Center space.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and follow-up skills to actively pursue new business opportunities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel).
• Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM.
• Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to educate customers about products, applications, pricing, and availability
• Understand the market to support strategic growth plans, ensuring annual goals are achieved
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to increase sales revenue as offerings expand
• Manage purchasing and coordination for drop-ship orders with updates to customers
• Research and prospect for new business leads in targeted markets using a consultative approach
• Create and execute plans to hit year-over-year revenue growth
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing with customers and vendors
• Demonstrate all aspects of the sales process including cold calling, objections, closing, and follow-up
