Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to grow our data center solutions portfolio with a focus on proactive relationship-building with key decision makers. You will guide customers through product offerings, pricing, and availability while coordinating with suppliers on drop-ship orders.

Role requires 5+ years of B2B inside sales, strong communication, and CRM proficiency. A remote-friendly arrangement is offered, with a preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 　
• 5+ years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably in data center space.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills with ability multitask in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and proactive follow-up to pursue opportunities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems like Salesforce; experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of GCG Data Center solutions and educate customers on products, pricing, and availability.
• Support strategic growth plans to meet annual goals.
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to grow revenue as offerings expand.
• Manage drop-ship orders and provide customers with regular status updates.
• Prospect for new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach.
• Create and execute plans to achieve year-over-year revenue growth.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with customers and vendors as the book grows.
• Demonstrate full sales process including cold calling, objection handling, closing, and follow-up.
