Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to grow our data center solutions business, building lasting relationships with key decision makers and suppliers in the Data Center Infrastructure market.

The role supports remote work with a strong preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone and offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and potential annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong business and sales foundation.
• 5 years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably in the Data Center space.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment.
• Proven ability to pursue new business opportunities and customer follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to provide best-in-class customer support and educate customers about products, applications, pricing, and availability.
• Understand the market to support strategic growth plans, ensuring that annual goals are achieved.
• Nurture relationships with GCG customers and suppliers to increase sales revenue as product offerings expand.
• Manage purchasing and coordination for drop-ship orders with timely updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Research and prospect for new business leads and expanded opportunities using a consultative sales approach.
• Create and execute plans to hit year-over-year revenue growth targets.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing with customers and vendors as the book of business grows.
• Demonstrate all aspects of the sales process including cold calling, handling objections, closing, and follow-up.
