Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to join a growing team focused on data center customers and partners. This remote-friendly role prefers candidates in the Central Time Zone and requires a proven B2B inside sales track record.

You will build relationships with decision makers and suppliers, manage drop-ship orders, and drive year-over-year revenue growth through strategic prospecting and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably in Data Center space.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of GCG Data Center solutions to educate customers on products, pricing, and availability.
• Support strategic growth plans to achieve annual goals.
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to increase revenue.
• Manage drop-ship orders and provide regular order/shipment updates.
• Research and prospect new business opportunities with a consultative approach.
• Create and execute plans to hit year-over-year revenue targets.
• Negotiate terms with customers and vendors as the book grows.
• Demonstrate full sales process from cold calling to closing.
