Job summary

GCG is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to join our data center solutions team. This role focuses on building lasting relationships with key decision makers and suppliers in the Data Center Infrastructure market, supporting demand generation and revenue growth.

A strong preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone, with eligibility for remote work. You will manage dropship orders, prospect new leads, and negotiate terms while driving annual revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably within the Data Center space.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of GCG Data Center solutions to educate customers on products, pricing and availability.
• Support strategic growth plans to achieve annual goals.
• Nurture relationships with customers and suppliers to grow revenue as offerings expand.
• Manage drop-ship orders and provide frequent order/shipment status updates.
• Research and prospect for new business leads using a consultative approach.
• Create and execute plans to hit year-over-year revenue growth targets.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with customers and vendors as book grows.
• Demonstrate full sales process including cold calling, objections handling, closing, and follow-up.
