Job summary

Lumen is a trusted network for AI-powered world. As an Account Manager II, Desk Based, you will drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across an assigned territory. You will manage the full sales cycle with consultative, outcome-driven techniques and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Work Location: This is a Work from Home position with schedule 8am-5pm in your time zone. You will mentor teammates and lead by example with high energy and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4+ years of sales experience in technology, telecommunications, business services, or related industry.
• Experience developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships in a consultative sales environment.
• Experience in a desk-based, inside, or outside sales role.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to conduct effective virtual sales calls, web meetings, and customer presentations.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage opportunities and forecasts.
• Excellent planning, organization, and multi-priority management skills.

Responsibilities

• Desk-based prospecting, selling and account management into assigned customers, meeting monthly sales quotas.
• Deliver a strong value proposition during consultative and transactional selling approaches to maximize revenue.
• Prospect and qualify via calls, emails, social media, and marketing campaigns, and follow up.
• Provide timely quotes and maintain accurate notes in Salesforce; advance opportunities.
• Prepare agendas for customer calls and lead meetings to identify opportunities.
