Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking an Account Manager II, Desk Based, to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across an assigned territory. You will manage the full sales cycle, deliver value, and support team success by sharing best practices.

This remote, work-from-home role follows a consultative sales approach, leveraging digital engagement and a strong emphasis on customer outcomes. You will mentor teammates and maintain fast, accurate forecasts in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of sales experience in technology, telecommunications, business services, or related industry.
• Experience developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships in a consultative sales environment.
• Proven success in a desk-based, inside, or outside sales role.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to conduct effective virtual sales calls, web meetings, and customer presentations.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
• Strong planning, organization, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Desk-based prospecting, selling and account management into assigned customers, meeting monthly quotas.
• Deliver a strong value proposition during consultative/transactional selling to maximize revenue.
• Prospect and qualify through calls, emails, social media, campaigns, and follow-ups.
• Provide timely quotes and maintain updated notes in CRM.
