Lumen is hiring an Account Manager II, Desk Based, to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth within an assigned territory. You will use consultative, outcome-driven sales techniques to identify needs, develop opportunities, and recommend solutions that deliver business value.

You will manage the full sales cycle, contribute to an exceptional customer experience, and share best practices to help the team succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of sales experience in technology, telecommunications, business services, or related industry.
• Experience developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships in a consultative sales environment.
• Proven success in desk-based, inside, or outside sales environments.
• Experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM to manage opportunities, forecasts and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Desk-based prospecting, selling and account management into assigned customers to meet monthly quotas.
• Deliver a strong value proposition during consultative and transactional selling to maximize revenue.
• Qualify prospects through calls, emails, social media, and campaigns; follow up diligently.
• Provide timely quotes and keep accurate notes in Salesforce; prepare customer meeting agendas.
• Engage internal resources to deliver an exceptional customer experience; drive high-impact opportunities.
• Forecast and report monthly sales activity; mentor teammates and lead by example.
