Job summary

Palo Alto Networks - Idira is seeking a highly motivated Inside Domain Consultant to support our commercial customers. You will blend technical knowledge with sales acumen to drive the technical win during the sales cycle, acting as the primary technical resource for the commercial sales force.

You will articulate technology and product positioning to business and technical users, identify all technical issues, and design optimal solutions for complex customer infrastructure and datacenter

Qualifications

• 3+ years Software Presales or equivalent customer-facing position.
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Windows/Active Directory administration and operations.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to demo products to technical and executive audiences.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills; cross-organizational collaboration.
• Understanding of security concepts and IAM/SIEM related solutions.
• Prior experience with Palo Alto Networks Idira or Enterprise applications is preferred.
• LDAP Directories and LDAP Authentication experience.
• Enterprise app authentication (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI) experience a plus.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) a plus.
• Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP) a plus.
• Familiarity with SaaS solutions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical pre-sales support for commercial customers.
• Develop and manage technical relationships to uncover new sales opportunities.
• Present Palo Alto Networks Idira's technical value proposition to customers and partners.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with clear technical input.
• Conduct and ensure success of customer POCs.
• Document client feature requests and issues in CRM.
• Support seminars and industry trade shows.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Develop technical knowledge of Palo Alto Networks Idira and related tech.
• Mentor other system engineers when appropriate.
• Create training content for the SE organization when appropriate.
