Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Inside Channel Systems Engineer to work with channel partners across the US. This role focuses on technical advisory across switching, wireless, routing, security, and AI-native networking, with end-to-end solution design and customer engagement.

The role develops partner capabilities and business potential by providing scalable inside technical sales support, enabling smaller partners to expand their expertise and quote solutions confidently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of networking systems engineering, presales or partner-facing roles.
• Experience designing and supporting campus, branch, and data center networks.
• Experience with channel partners and resellers.
• Experience supporting commercial and government customers (SLED) preferred.
• Strong presentation and discovery skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop partner technical competency and sales readiness.
• Provide remote presales support across opportunities.
• Help qualify opportunities early.
• Assist with discovery, architecture, sizing, and configuration.
• Review designs, BOMs, and proposals.
• Teach partners to build BOMs and reference designs.
• Deliver webinars and enablement sessions.
• Collaborate with Partner Account Managers to move opportunities forward.
