Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder to work fully remotely. This role requires a deep understanding of medical coding standards, especially ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding for inpatient discharges.

You will review clinical documentation, assign appropriate codes, and collaborate with clinical teams. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of inpatient coding experience and hold relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• At least three years of inpatient coding experience in an Academic Medical Center.
• Current certification in CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT is required.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to complex inpatient discharges.
• Collaborate with CDI on coding accuracy.
• Educate staff on coding conventions and guidelines.
