Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking an experienced Inpatient Medical Coder to assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and ICD-10-PCS procedures for complex inpatient stays. This remote role requires expertise in clinical documentation and coding conventions within a hospital setting, collaborating with CDI to ensure accurate MS-DRG outcomes.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years in inpatient coding, hold CCS/CIC/RHIA/RHIT credentials, and be proficient with 3M 360 CAC to support coding accuracy and

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' inpatient coding experience in an Academic Medical Center.
• Current CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT certification.
• Excellent computer/communication skills for provider and staff interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes for complex inpatient discharges.
• Review provider notes and CDI input for accurate diagnoses and procedures.
• Utilize 3M 360 CAC for efficient coding and coding accuracy.
