Ideal candidates will possess at least three years' experience in inpatient coding within an academic setting and hold relevant certifications such as CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in an Academic Medical Center with Inpatient Coding.
• Current certification required (CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT).
• Excellent computer and communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate ICD-10 codes for complex inpatient visits.
• Review provider notes for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Improvement team.
