Advocate Health is seeking a diligent Inpatient Coder to join the 10407 Enterprise Revenue Cycle unit in Lexington, KY. This full-time role involves coding inpatient encounters using ICD-10 CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS, with a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management, 7 years inpatient coding experience, and certification eligibility through AAPC or AHIMA. Expect high-volume reviews and CDI collaboration.

Formación

• 7 years inpatient coding experience in acute care.
• Experience with revenue cycle processes and CDI.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review complex inpatient documentation to assign ICD-10 CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure correct code selection following Official Coding Guidelines and regulations.
• Code high-dollar and long length of stay cases for all patient types.
• Collaborate with CDI/Quality teams to match DRG.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in payer audits.
