Job summary

Requires RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification with 3–5 years in acute care coding. Remote work is approved in multiple states including MS, AL, FL, GA, and others.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding conventions.
• RHIT/RHIA or CCS certification required or in progress.
• Experience in acute care coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assign diagnoses and procedure codes per ICD-10-CM/PCS.
• Code CPT-4 for observation accounts when applicable.
• Submit abstracts to billing system for clean claim submission.
