Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and assign diagnosis and procedure codes for inpatient accounts.
• Verify abstracts and submit to billing system for claims.
• Maintain coding accuracy to support A/R goals.
• Collaborate with CDI, HIM, and management; mentor staff.
• Utilize encoder and EHR tools; work with minimal supervision.
