AMN Healthcare is seeking a Remote Facility Inpatient Coder to accurately code inpatient services, procedures and diagnoses from medical records, supporting reimbursement and compliance. The role requires extensive ICD-10-CM/PCS expertise and adherence to coding guidelines in a remote environment.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years in medical coding, with RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CIC credentials, and are proficient in DRG accuracy, documentation improvement, and productivity targets.

Qualifikationen

• Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding principles for acute care hospitals.
• Familiarity with Official Coding Guidelines and payer-specific requirements.
• Minimum of three years' medical coding experience.
• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS in a hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Code inpatient services, procedures, diagnoses and conditions from medical records.
• Maintain 95% DRG and overall accuracy rate.
• Maintain productivity standards and timely chart reviews.
• Review and communicate corrections to facilities as needed.
• Code or pending every chart in the queue.
