Qualifications

• Five+ years of direct inpatient coding experience using ICD-10-CM/PCS.
• Five+ years in healthcare industry experience.
• Five+ years in hospital/clinical setting.
• Five+ years using specialized coding tools/software.

Responsibilities

• Review and code complex inpatient records using ICD-10-CM/PCS.
• Analyze clinical documentation to identify diagnoses, procedures, comorbidities, and DRG impact.
• Resolve complex coding scenarios within guidelines and escalations.
• Query providers to ensure complete, compliant records.
• Support audits, quality assurance, and process improvement.
