Requirements include at least 5 years of IP PCS coding experience, CCS certification, and familiarity with Cerner, PowerChart, 3M, and EPIC systems. Start date is immediate, with weekdays full-time hours and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inpatient PCS coding experience required.
• Experience with outpatient/OP coding preferred (3 years).
• CCS certificate is required to qualify for this role.

Responsibilities

• Review full medical records to determine principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures.
• Sequence diagnoses and procedures to optimize DRG assignments.
• Strive for high accuracy and optimal DRG outcomes with system assistance.
