Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks an Industry Technical Consultant to implement new technology, support sales teams, and identify market opportunities within the Northeast region. Remote work with significant travel supports this role.

The candidate will train sales reps, develop application plans, and conduct on-site audits to solve client problems, leveraging a broad technology suite and data-driven methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 10+ years of successful technical implementation, production management, process engineering, technical sales, or field sales support experience.
• 50% or more overnight travel required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assists sales team in technical/application related calls and presentations.
• Researches market and product opportunities within specific industry sectors.
• Develops plans with field and SBU members to capture sales opportunities.
• Conducts on-site audits to assess and solve customer problems.
• Provides on-the-job product and sales training and identifies training needs for field sales.
• Collaborates with marketing and sales to identify new product applications and training.
• Coaches team members on processes, technologies, and value documentation.
