Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for closed loop systems across Europe. You will apply expertise in closed-loop chemistry, heat transfer, and direct-to-chip cooling to support field teams, training, and customer deployments.

This remote role requires extensive travel (50%+) across Europe, includes a benefits package and company car, and offers opportunities to drive innovative solutions and measurable savings for

Qualifications

• Closed-loop chemistry, water treatment, and microbiology basics.
• Heat transfer and thermal performance in cooling systems.
• Direct-to-chip liquid cooling and related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field teams to support industry-specific opportunities.
• Support direct-to-chip cooling applications and overall closed-loop portfolio.
• Train technical audiences and ensure proper use of implemented systems.
• Lead root-cause analyses to resolve application or best-practice concerns at sites.
• Assess water treatment programs and quantify operational savings.
• Collaborate with R&D/Marketing on innovation milestones and pilots.
• Lead innovation pilot applications and market trials.
• Deliver value through problem-solving and measurable results.
• Provide training to associates and customers to develop proficiency.
• Coach team members on processes, technologies, and value documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Microbiology)
