Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant for our Safety Institutional Healthcare division. You will implement new technology, support sales reps, and identify market opportunities while developing and executing plans with field teams.

The role includes on-site audits, training, and collaboration with marketing to drive product applications. Travel 50%+ is required, with a remote Northeast region focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years in technical implementation, production management, process engineering, or technical sales.
• Willing to travel 50%+ overnight.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assists sales reps in industry-specific technical calls and presentations.
• Researches market opportunities and defines product applications for customers.
• Develops plans with field and SBU members to capture sales opportunities.
• Conducts on-site audits to assess and solve customer problems.
• Provides on-the-job product and sales training and materials.
• Collaborates with marketing and sales on new product applications and training.
• Coaches team members on processes, technologies, and value documentation.
