Job summary

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for closed loop systems. This role focuses on closed loop chemistry, microbiology, fluid compatibility, and heat transfer performance, with direct-to-chip liquid cooling as a key application.

You will troubleshoot complex challenges, train audiences, and translate technical knowledge into clear recommendations for customers, sales teams, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable technical expertise in closed loop systems, water treatment, thermal management and related fields.
• Ability to apply core technical principles across chemistry, materials compatibility, fluid selection, heat transfer and automation.
• Willingness to travel across Europe to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field sales and corporate account teams on technical sales opportunities.
• Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling applications and broader closed loop portfolio.
• Train technical audiences and provide customer training and support.
• Lead problem-solving efforts using root cause analysis at customer sites.
• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on Innovation projects and Phase Gate milestones.
• Lead innovation pilot applications, technical trials and market trials.
