Job summary

Graybar is seeking an Account Manager - Industrial Automation to grow key accounts within aerospace, entertainment, government, and water/wastewater markets. The role emphasizes remote work, self-sufficiency, and nurturing market verticals with a focus on PLCs, VFDS, motors and pneumatics.

You will be supported by an automation team for opportunity support and project management, while driving revenue through new and existing relationships and presenting product solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualify new accounts and opportunities or expand relationships with existing customers.
• Work with automation knowledge in PLC, VFDS, motor control, pneumatics and electrical services.
• Leverage internal and external resources for product and customer service support.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Understand customer needs and partner with suppliers to meet them.
• Give presentations on new products and company services.
• Attain or exceed sales and profit budgets.
