Job summary
Graybar in the United States is seeking an Account Manager - Industrial Automation to qualify new accounts and grow opportunities within Aerospace, Entertainment, Government, Water & Wastewater markets. You will nurture relationships with existing customers to drive revenue while working remotely.
The ideal candidate has interest in automation control, specifically PLC & VFDS, motor control, pneumatics, and electrical services, and will be supported by an automation team for opportunity support
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience preferred
- 4 year degree preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with RFIs and RFPs
Responsibilities
- Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity
- Understand customer business needs and work closely with our supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needs
- Give presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services
- Attain or exceed sales and profit budget
