Job summary

Graybar is seeking an Account Manager to qualify new accounts and deepen relationships with existing customers across OEM, System Integrator, Panel Builder, and Water & Food & Beverage markets. The role emphasizes remote work, self-sufficiency, and revenue generation through strategic account management and collaboration with an automation team.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, a 4-year degree, strong communication and negotiation skills, and familiarity with RFIs/RFPs.

• 4 year degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Understand customer business needs and work closely with supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needs.
• Give presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services.
• Attain or exceed sales and profit budget.
