Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Industrial Account Manager to drive sales of PROTO, Stanley, Craftsman, Lenox, and DEWALT brands with National Accounts partners in the Industrial channels.

This remote role requires ownership of the sales cycle from discovery to execution, with emphasis on value delivery, promotions, and product introductions. The position entails 60% travel within the territory and nationwide engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree in a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience in a shop environment.
• 2+ Years of direct sales experience in industrial sales is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.
• Demonstrated time management skills, ability to set priorities is required.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is preferable.
• Willingness to travel (60%)

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and present solutions to customers.
• Forecast and manage opportunities through CRM.
• Coordinate with distributors and end-users for growth.
• Support training and safety seminars for customers.
• Document activity and results in CRM and reports.
