Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Midwest region. Remote in Midwest Territory, travel up to 50% as needed.

You will drive growth by building relationships with industrial customers, channel partners, and internal teams to deliver engineered solutions and exceptional customer experiences. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in sales or business development, plus strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT/CS, Communications, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or related field.
• High mechanical and technical aptitude; DC torque tools.
• Strong project management skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Eagerness to learn about new industrial applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Industrial environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion targets.
• Cultivate relationships with industrial customers and channel partners, delivering tailored solutions.
• Manage channel partnerships and distributor relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
