Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to join the sales team working remotely near St. Cloud, Duluth, MN or Fargo, ND with 60% travel. You will manage all elements of the region and drive growth across SBDK brands.

You will develop strategic plans, establish key account relationships, and utilize Salesforce and BW to drive efficiencies while managing budgets and dealer support. 4-year degree preferred and 3+ years in industrial sales are expected.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• Understanding and knowledge of IT Business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel both in and out of state desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all elements of the region.
• Responsible for region’s sales growth, profitability, listings, and share gain.
• Develop and execute strategic plan leveraging marketing programs, field resources, product training, event marketing, and outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel.
• Regularly call on all dealers in assigned area.
• Drive sell-through across SBDK brands and strategic business units.
• Provide support to dealers on product knowledge and marketing.
