Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Industrial Account Manager to lead a remote/field sales territory in Western Michigan and NE Indiana. You will identify opportunities, run product trials, and deliver cost-savings analyses showing value across DeWalt, Stanley, Lenox, Proto, Irwin brands.

You will manage distributors, coordinate promotions, and report on territory activity while traveling about 35% of the time. A degree or equivalent experience plus sales success is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience in industrial sales preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; technical and mechanical aptitude with tools/machines.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory with distribution customers across Western Michigan and Northeast Indiana.
• Demonstrate value of the portfolio and provide cost-savings analyses to customers.
• Support customers with sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions.
• Handle territory administration including travel, expenses, forecasting, and reports.
• Keep distributors informed and align sales teams on value-added service.
