Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Account Manager for a remote position covering Western Michigan and Northeast Indiana. The role requires 35% travel and focuses on growing a multi-brand industrial portfolio including DeWALT, BLACK+DECKER, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, and Lenox.

You will manage a territory, present value-based solutions, and support customers with sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions, while coordinating with distributors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience in industrial sales preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• Technical/mechanical ability with tools and machines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a sales territory across DeWalt, Stanley, Lenox, Proto, Irwin brands.
• Demonstrate value of SB&D portfolio and provide cost-savings analyses.
• Support customers with sales service, inventory control, and promotions.
• Handle territory administration: travel, samples, forecasts, and leadership requests.
• Keep distributors informed and align sales teams on value-added services.
• Develop and present programs to customers and sales teams.
