Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Account Manager for General Line to drive equipment sales and service activity in a defined remote territory, including frontline quoting, prospecting, and relationship development. You will work with direct end users and partners to achieve revenue targets, expand market presence, and maintain customer loyalty.

Travel within Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan is required; a high school diploma and 2+ years in industrial sales are required, with a preference

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of experience in an industrial sales business setting
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent (preferred)
• Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Generate Revenue by selling equipment, service contracts, and services to end users and partners within a defined geographic area.
• Develop dealer and customer relationships and design compressed air solutions.
• Coach dealer sales personnel and collaborate with services team to meet customer needs.
• Maintain CRM records, track opportunities, and report on sales activities.
