Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Account Manager for the General Line to drive equipment sales and service activity across a defined territory in Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan. The role combines distributor support with direct sales to end users, requiring travel and strong relationship building to meet revenue targets.

You will analyze customer needs, design compressed air solutions, and collaborate with the service team to deliver value.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years' of experience in an industrial sales business setting

Responsibilities

• Generate Revenue - sell equipment, service contracts, and offerings to end users and partners in a defined geographic area.
• Develop People Capabilities - train dealer sales personnel and internal staff on selling skills and products.
• Manage Cash - ensure error-free orders and proper documentation, resolve disputes, control selling costs.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules in field and center.
• Earn Customer loyalty by cross-functional collaboration with service teams.
• Maintain CRM database with accounts, opportunities, and order follow-ups.
