Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Account Manager - General Line to drive equipment sales and service activity in a defined remote territory across Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan.

You will quote, strategize, prospect, and develop relationships to hit revenue targets while maintaining customer loyalty and collaborating with distributors and direct customers. Regional travel is required and a strong industrial sales background is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years' experience in an industrial sales setting.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by selling equipment, service contracts and offerings to end users and partners in a defined territory.
• Develop existing customers and secure new accounts to expand IR presence.
• Provide compressed air solutions and maintain product knowledge and training.
• Ensure order accuracy, resolve disputes, and manage sales costs.
• Maintain CRM data and track sales pipeline with daily reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support customers and troubleshoot issues.
