Job summary

Cable One is seeking an inbound sales representative (interim, work-from-home) to assist customers with service changes while promoting Sparklight offerings. The role emphasizes empathy, persistence, and problem solving to retain revenue. Must have customer service exposure, and call center experience is a plus.

Remote work is available for the right candidate; onsite options may exist where appropriate. A solid attendance record and a GED or higher are expected, with associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months in customer service; call center is a plus.
• Proactive, persistent, and able to close sales.
• Outgoing and able to direct conversations toward commitment.
• Listen with empathy and offer workable solutions.
• Keep pace with product improvements and stay resilient.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls to remove or disconnect services and attempt to retain services and revenue.
• Build rapport with customers and identify issues for resolutions.
• Meet monthly metrics and maintain high call quality.
• Accurately input orders using multiple order entry programs.
• Stay informed on competitor offers to provide beneficial terms.
