Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Litigated Claims Specialist to join our Commercial General Liability team. This role focuses on resolving complex GL claims with guidance from internal and external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals.

You will manage claims through their lifecycle, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders and adherence to regulatory standards, while contributing to Zurich’s industry leadership and customer trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Claims/Insurance.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 5+ years of claims/insurance.
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in Claims.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of Claims/Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve moderate to high-exposure, multi-party GL claims from start to finish.
• Partner with internal and external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals.
• Provide clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders during the claim process.
• Ensure claims are handled in line with regulatory standards and company protocols.
