Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Litigated Claims Specialist to manage moderate to high-exposure commercial general liability claims on a hybrid schedule from select US offices, or remote for highly qualified candidates.

You will collaborate with counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols while growing your claims portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3+ years in Claims or Insurance.
• Alternative credentials: Apprentice or Zurich program with 5+ years.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex litigated claims from start to finish with focus on quality and service.
• Partner with internal and external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals.
• Provide clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure claims are handled per regulatory standards and company protocols.
