Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Litigated Claims Specialist to join our Commercial General Liability team. This role focuses on resolving high-exposure claims with litigation expertise and collaborative problem-solving.

The position supports a hybrid schedule reporting to multiple US offices, including Schaumburg, IL, with comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay range. Prior GCL and litigation experience is valued highly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with claims/insurance experience.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice credential with relevant experience.
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with experience in claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-exposure, multi-party commercial general liability claims from start to finish.
• Partner with internal/external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals.
• Provide clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders throughout the claim process.
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with regulatory standards and company protocols.
