Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a Litigated Claims Specialist to join the Commercial General Liability team. The role offers hybrid work across multiple U.S. locations, including Schaumburg, IL, with remote options for qualified candidates.

You will manage moderate to high-exposure claims, coordinate with counsel and risk teams, and communicate progress to clients throughout the lifecycle of each case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Claims or Insurance required or equivalent with relevant licensing.
• Zurich Certification Apprentice option requires 3+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance.
• High School Diploma with 5+ years in Claims/Insurance and adjuster license(s).

Responsibilities

• Handle complex litigated claims from start to finish with focus on quality and service.
• Partner with internal/external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals.
• Provide clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders during the claim process.
• Ensure claims comply with regulatory standards and company protocols.
