Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Litigated Claims Specialist to manage moderate to high-exposure commercial general liability claims. The role offers hybrid work from multiple US offices or remote arrangements for highly qualified candidates with experience in General Liability claims.

Responsibilities include handling complex litigated claims from start to finish, coordinating with counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals, and communicating with customers throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice pathway with 5+ years in Claims or Insurance
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years in Claims or Insurance
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5+ years in Claims or Insurance
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Handle complex litigated claims from start to finish with quality and efficiency
• Partner with internal and external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals
• Provide clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with regulatory standards and company protocols
