Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a HV Training and Technical Support Specialist to support daily OCC/O&M work processes and develop HV training materials. This fully remote role will collaborate with the Technical Support Supervisor and field technicians to improve safety and performance across projects.

You will be the subject matter expert, provide on-call and daytime support, and assist with NERC-related activities while upholding SOLV's safety and inclusion commitments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Ability to train and develop others.
• Recognize hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Proficient with computer operations and testing software.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on a rotational on-call schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Develop HV training materials with supervisor and SOLV staff.
• Provide SME advice to clients.
• Support OCC with Power Systems Analysis and guidance.
• Prepare and review test plans for technicians.
• Review HV Test Reports for acceptance and maintenance.
• Provide on-call and daytime HV support to OCC and field technicians.
• Remote support of EPC Startup, Commissioning, and O&M activities.
• Maintain and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
