Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a HV Training and Technical Support Specialist to support daily OCC/O&M work processes and develop HV training materials in a fully remote role. This position requires strong safety awareness and collaboration with the Technical Support Supervisor.

You will provide on-call HV support to OCC and field technicians, assist in test planning, and contribute to testing, commissioning, and O&M activities while promoting diversity and inclusion within SOLV’s culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Testing and Commissioning experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Ability to recognize hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective computer operation skills and ability to operate system testing applications.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a rotational on-call schedule (weekends/after-hours).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Complete other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

• Develop HV Training Material in collaboration with the Technical Support Supervisor.
• Support OCC with Power Systems Analysis and operational guidance.
• Assist in approving HV Test Reports for testing activities.
• Provide On-Call and daytime HV Support to OCC and Field Technicians.
• Remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and O&M activities.
• Provide SME advice to clients.
• Prepare, present RCA findings for equipment failures.
• Support NERC Misoperations reports and Corrective Actions for HP issues.
