Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Training and Technical Support Specialist to support daily OCC / O&M workflows and develop HV training materials. The position is fully remote; specific location expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

You will develop training content, provide on‑call and daytime HV support to OCC and field technicians, review test plans, and deliver SME advice to clients while upholding SOLV safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 10+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Ability to train and develop others.
• Ability to recognize hazards and mitigate risk with proper tools and procedures.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in rotational on-call schedule, possibly weekends or after-hours.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the priority and all employees follow safe practices.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety standards.
• Understand and communicate safety regulations and procedures.
• Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Develop HV training material with supervisor and SOLV team.
• Provide on-call and daytime HV support to OCC and field technicians.
• Remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and O&M activities.
• Review HV test reports for acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Support NERC misoperations reports and corrective actions for HP issues.
