SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Director of Project Development and Strategy to lead all preconstruction activities for the HV infrastructure business unit, from opportunity identification to handoff to execution.

You will standardize processes, drive accurate estimates, and shape pricing strategy for bids and proposals. The role collaborates with Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations leadership to convert opportunities into well-scoped, bid-ready projects, including

Competenze

• 10+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or engineering in HV transmission/substation
• 3+ years in a leadership role in preconstruction
• Experience leading pricing for HV/substation EPC, self-perform, and delivery models

Mansioni

• Lead HV preconstruction through estimating and proposal development, including pricing and risk review
• Own the preconstruction stage-gate process for HV, ensuring scope definition and estimate quality
• Partner with Business Development to shape win strategy, pricing philosophy, and differentiation for proposals and RFPs
• Develop and present cost estimates, risk registers, and pricing recommendations to executive leadership
