Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Director of Project Development and Strategy to lead all preconstruction activities for its High Voltage Infrastructure unit. You will own estimating, bid development, and handoffs to execution, coordinating with BD, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to deliver well-scoped, constructible projects.

Qualifications

10+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or engineering in HV transmission/substation/industrial construction.
3+ years in a preconstruction leadership role.
Experience leading competitive and negotiated pricing for HV/substation EPC or self-perform projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
Familiarity with estimating platforms and tools such as Accubid.

Responsibilities

Lead HV preconstruction team through estimating and proposal development (conceptual pricing, hard-bid estimates, negotiated pricing, change orders).
Own preconstruction stage-gate process ensuring scope, take-off, risk, and estimate quality.
